In Loving Memory of My Aunt Betty

This is a photo that I prepared for my grandmother 2 years ago at Christmas. She has been working on our family tree for a long time, so I wanted to make her a visual family tree of her own branches. It shows my grandmother and grandfather (Peggy and Reg) as the 2 largest at the bottom. Then, moving up the tree, you see my Aunt Betty and her husband Doug. A little further, you see my parents - Karen and Nelson. Along the top, are the 4 granddaughters from left to right - Vickie and then Amber (Betty's daughters) and Angela and then myself (Karen's daughters). In the middle are the 3 great grandsons - Vickie's son Armand on the left, my son Tyson in the middle, and my sister's son Mitchell on the right.
My aunt Betty (at the bottom of the tree) passed away this morning of cancer and diabetes. It was a long tough road that has come to an end. Our family is relieved and happy that she is in a better place now.
My grandmother (we call her G.G. - for great grand-nan) is still living and is 92 years old. I love this picture of her. I think she is just way too adorable. She is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. My heart goes out to her for everything she has endured over the years and more so recently. She is still going strong and will be with us for a long time yet. She is a trooper in every sense of the word. --Love you incredibly G.G.!!
